| As the nation prepares to celebrate the birthday
of Martin Luther King Jr., there will be much talk in coming days of dreams
and visions. Dr. King captured the imagination of the world when he externalized
the hopes of the oppressed in his famous "I have a dream" speech.
As he spoke of his dream there were millions who shared the same hope.
However, one man's visions can be another man's nightmare. One man's quest
can stimulate another man's defeat. So it was with Dr. King. His dream
became the nightmare of those who wanted to sustain overt and institutionalized
American Apartheid. So a feeble attempt was made to eliminate the vision
by eliminating the visionary...to kill the dream by killing the dreamer.
In a similar vein, God has always had a vision for his people. In Old Testament times his vision was projected by prophets and preachers in sweltering deserts and in stately mansions. In New Testament times his visions was projected by apostles ..... If this introduction has the feel of what
