A Sample Introduction Based On This Theme is Below
| Have youever messed up a good thing? Every now and
then each of us gets a golden opportunity that probably won't be repeated
to frequently. Sometimes the opportunity involves a career opportunity.
Sometimes it's a quest for a higher education. There are times when our
"good thing" is a caring husband or a loving wife. It could even be a nice
car, job and bright prospects for promotion. Whatever happens to be our
particular "good thing" -some of us can recall a time or two when we really
messed up and lost or nearly lost our "good thing."
Many years ago the blues singer Etta James wrote a song about a man who had a loving and devoted wife but he was never there for him. While she did everything to please him, he was always somewhere else. When the wife decided to leave him, Etta James sang the words of the song's title, "Your good thing is about to come to an end."
