| Have you ever been audited, reviewed or evaluated?
This is the time when all of our actions are reviewed by superiors or those
who have authority over us. Some jobs have regular evaluation periods that
occur systematically. There are often peer reviews and quality performance
checks in some areas. Some will argue that one of the most painful reviews
is the one posed by the Internal Revenue Service when it conducts an audit.
It reaches way back and makes us all feel vulnerable and small in the face
of an all powerful government. Since we are aware of the possibility of
evaluations, most people prepare for them by doing what is expected
and keeping the proper records.
