| What method do you use to discover the will
of God? How do you know that what you decide to do is really what God wants
you to do? Are you sure?
People have used many ways to try to learn the will of God for their lives. Some are very humorous and others border on the superstitious. Those who are undecided about what they should do with their lives usally seek outside assurances. Some ask God to show them which way to go. We perhaps know of individuals who have unanswered questions about life so they open the Bible and point to a Scripture and take their directions from whatever scripture their finger finds. That was the case with the woman who stood in front of the judge and tried to explain her strange habits. "Your honor" she began, "the Lord told me to do it. Before I left home I told the Lord to show me what to do. I opened my bible and I pointed to a verse that said, 'my God shall supply all your needs.' When I saw them pork chops laying there and nobody was looking I knew Lord laid them out there for me." The judge listened as the woman continued. "About that ring.
